Chavacano is widely known in mindanao as broken spanish. There are many types of Chavacano but the mostly known in the Mindanao is Zamboangueno Chavacano. Zamboanga is one of the oldest seaport in Mindanao connecting Malaysia and the rest of the southeast asian countries near Zamboanga peninsula. Chavacanos are still retain their spanish blood and can be seen today and to this blog. I have classmates also who look like spanish with their fair complexion(some are not), high bridge nose, with latin eyes which is one of the indicators of a chavacano.
