The RTX 4060 Is Not What You Think - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Review

I bought an EAGLE RTX 4060 because my RX 5700 XT was drawing so much power and getting incredibly hot on some warmer days. The card draws half the power and and cools itself around 64-65° but performance doesnt drop to half at all. With DLSS 3 and Frame Gen on, I can crank out more FPS. The card also costs less than RTX 3060, 3060 Ti, 3070 and so on. (in my country)

It's just that he behaves terribly. At least in two games, the graphics are worse than the old AMD ones, which is a shame and disgrace. It's supposed to be a lot of frames per second, but it feels like you're playing at 20 frames per second. In game "Dying Light" performs worse than R9 290 - 2Gb. This is disgraceful. The graphics in DOOM are also a total pain. Blurry nothing, that yau play on everything to the maximum.

11:15 because it is not unreasonable to think a brand new card for $300 should be able to get more than 5fps at 1440p on a game that is almost 3 years old.

More like it should be expected that this 4060 should be competing with the 3070, not the 3060 as a generational performance increase.

Interesting! I’m glad you touched on the fact that GPUs aren’t just for gaming. There are a ton of reasons to consider now aside from just gaming and it is refreshing to hear this talked about. As someone who builds itx with noise and efficiency in mind, the 4060 is a more than welcome bump in performance, and I happily accept its trade offs. Also I am unfortunately used to itx costs lol

A few questions. 1. I thought that the predecessor to the 7600 was the 6600. 2 . If all companies are moving to AI and frame generation then we should be comparing the cards with fram gen and rast. Not just rast. My opinion. I have an rx 7600 and I am kicking myself because with frame gen the 4060 kicks it's butt. I would love your opinion on this. Am I wrong?

Well, I think 4060 is for mini itx build enthusiasm, so they can upgrade from 1650 to 4060

Well being that the 4060 outsold all the AMD cards in its price range by a huge margin. I would say most of the planet loves the card.

in my country 3060 12gb is more expensive than the 4060 So yeah im Going with the 4060
