Hi, totally get your frustration with living out of boxes. For your bedroom you can fold the flaps into each box to make them a bit stronger. Turn them on their side and stack them on top of each other to create cardboard alcoves. That way you can fold and see your clothing items rather than rummaging around in boxes on the floor. I've done this a number of times also while awaiting the removal van to arrive. All the best in New York, you lucky thing!😃

at 4 minutes in - if you are looking for some great chairs/a bench which will match the rich tones of the walnut, or even if you wanted a contrast in natural oak - I strongly recommend pinch furniture as their chairs and benches are super elegant and really well made/designed

You should call those gray/green cargos either iron, seal, battleship, davy, fossil, charcoal are all real colors of gray btw and you can search them up! If you want a more green name you can do smokey green, oakmoss, evergreen fog, rosemary, or antique green these are also all real colors u can search up!! I looked at all these colors and they already match up with the way they look in the video but it’s all up to you and these are just some fan suggestions keep up the good work🔥

Greetings from leafy Beaconsfield,Buckinghamshire, England. Liking your videos. Came across you by accident and have liked and subscribed. Your apartment in NYC looks lovely and you certainly are able to create a very homely space, no question. I have to say however that although it sounds glamorous and super interesting to say I live in New York, the reality is often very different. I know New York reasonably well, particularly Manhattan and I have to say that regrettably in my view, it has really gone downhill. I was last there in 2023 and was shocked at the deterioration from my previous visit back in 2012. It has become hugely expensive, on a par , in fact more so that central London especially when you factor in the ridiculous tip culture they have out there! Not 10% but they expect and insist on between a massive 20-30%! Now when you factor that in on prices that are already inflated that makes a huge difference. And it’s not a discretionary tip it is most definitely expected and to your peril should you not leave one or even leave what New Yorkers deem to be too little! Not nice! Secondly, the place is filthy, the streets are piled with rubbish and the subway is a no go area especially after nightfall! Very dirty, and very intimidating with loads of deranged people. I’m afraid it feels like it has gone back to what it used to be like in the 80s! I’m not saying London is perfect, far from it, BUT you rarely feel threatened or unsafe on the London Underground compared to the New York subway and London it is certainly a cleaner city than NYC. So yes sounds all very glamorous and exciting but unless you are seriously wealthy and can live in the absolute best most prestigious part and money is no object when paying for things then fair enough that might be a bit different but for the rest of the 90% plus people I wouldn’t recommend it, certainly not to live. A week’s vacation sure.
