This year Novak won 3 out of 4 GS. He is the only player to win every slam twice. Tsitsipas said that Djokovic is GOAT after RG final. Berretini said it in interviews. Zverev said it 2 days ago. Murray and Roddick said that Djokovic is the tennis GOAT. Now after the USO final even Medvedev said that Djokovic is the GOAT of tennis. I mean there is no more to prove, everything that is to come is just the icing on the cake.

It's unbelievable which pressure he was under the last 2 months, if you don't take it, having Novak's mindset and ability to reset, then .... it's just insane. He is like Novak in so many ways. Russians and Serbians have always been similar.🥰 Novak once dedicated it to wife. Another to his son another to daughter. It's just amazing people on and off the count.

glad Medvedev won his first slam here in the US, as an American tennis fan he's my favorite player outside of the big 3. hope he reaches his full potential and wins at least 10 slams by the end of his career.

Both of them deserved this title equally. Med was struggling for a long time and nole was aiming for the history! Great players and I am sure Novak will win more slams if he stays healthy.

Watched the match live at the Arthur Ashe Stadium. Though the crowd was 90% for Djokovic, they're totally disrespectful towards Medvedev trying to break his momentum. The referee didn't help much either, but I'm glad the Medvedev won in the end :) Loved his "dead fish" celebration at the end
