Probably, Greenland and Faeroes Islands will be independents kingdoms in a Danish Commonwealth, in a far off future.

***** Hello IHikad, a very happy Sunday for you Probably, His future Majesty the King Frederik will appoint a Governors General in Groenland and Faeroes islands. The real independence will be when the Copenhagen Parliament authorize the Nationals Army in both countries, separate the Danish krone in relation to the National currency in Faeroes and Greenland, when the Parliament authorize the two Kingdoms as free members of United Nations a Danish Commonwealth and the NATO.

marco antonio godoy I think there is a lot of oil and minerals beneath and around Greenland, so no doubt they will want their independence.
