The Nightline shows exactly why these guys are calm, quiet killers. Notice how they do not shout or curse at the aspirants, notice how they tell the guys to remain calm (you do and you are right). The Jægere goes on a swimming-diving-etc course with the Frømandskorpset, and Frøerne goes to a parachute insertion course with Jægerkorpset, and they love teasing and friend-hazing each other.

That's unique to the diving activities during Frogman training, because it's dangerous and the aspirants need to pay attention and learn. Otherwise the Frogmen are famously one of the few Danish units that implemented the American style of hazing and yelling at recruits (something that's very different to the Jaegers and Sirius for example) and is supposedly something they picked up from US Navy SEAL training.

There's actually 3 branches of special forces. Frogman corps Hunter corps Sirius patrol. Sirius patrol is responsible of patrolling and enforcement of the sovereignty of the Kingdom in the eastern and northern Greenland (world largest nationals park). The King has also been in the Sirius.

The king has not been in the Sirius patrol, which is a common misconception. He did a expedition in celebration of 50 years of Sirius patrol, but has never been part of the Sirius patrol. He has however been a part of the frogman corps.

@@theoriginalmalle3392 His stint with the Frogs were no different. He is not a Frog either. He was there to observe and learn. He did not even have to go through to full initial trials. I hate that people always say that he is a Frog and that he did the Sirius. He had bodyguards, he had food flown in, he had family visiting there during his little trip.

ive been in theyr base :) its so cool, jumped off a hanger into water! wich was 7-10 meters i dont remember really. got military food from a hilicopter:P, Tryed some training the frogmens do for living. it was a great day.

If there's any way you can boost volume of the video (not your voice, but the video) then that'd be nice. But loving the series, just finished your Sirius commentary, and it's cool to get a British perspective on the special forces of Denmark. FYI: The frogmen were part of a competition with special forces from all of nato, and tied with SBS for 1st place ahead of Seal Team Six in 2nd place.

måske du skulle sætte dig mere ind i tingene, før du satte dig foran et tastatur. For ud fra hvad du siger, så må Hæren (general udtryk), f.eks ikke hjælpe under kraftig sne med div tunge køretøjer, som f.eks at hjælpe med at fragte syge til hospitalet i deres PMV's (pansered mandskabsvogn). haha i live on bornholm and it was skandalous that they even was discovered to be on the island by locals! if there was no tv crew no one would have noticed! none of them got the real frogmedalion! they just showed how normal military would be! didn't show their true badassery and even tormented the youglings over their own brittish incompetense
