In 2010, Allan Torp started his journey with Bungalow5. Soon after he quit his full-time job in the Danish interior industry as PR and communications for Gubi to fully commit to creating a platform for the simple, bright and Scandinavian look, which is known throughout the world.
For the past 11 years he has dedicated all his time to blogging and worked freelance with many of the most well-known Danish design brands, contributed to decor magazines and books. In 2017 he published his first book “Scandinavian Style at Home, a Room by Room guide” together with Thames & Hudson.
Through the years he has published more than 5.000 posts about his love for design, along with stories about his own personal life.

ever since i visited denmark, i fell in love with danish mcm furniture ❤ and when i win the lottery, i'll definitely get a PH lamp (not the artichoke) and an Egg chair

I am with you on this one, love mid century danish furniture too, especially Finn Juhl's Pelican chair and you can't fault Papa Bear19. Allan, would you recommend The Wood Working Club in Copenhagen for one that would like to get started in danish furniture.

DK3 Royal System by Poul Cadovius. The original to IKEA' Svälnas system, which unfortunately was short-lived.

Great content! Please consider manually adding chapters to your video, as KZbin automatic chapters have misspelled every name (Annie Jacobson, Ole Bangsha, The VIP bin…)

Sorry but when you talk about something that's visually appealing then have your face in the camera for most of it David Attenborough once said you only put yourself in frame for reference.
