ikr, the chemistry was so good and even without it being canon, KES had laid the groundwork for their relationship. Their characters mirrored each other, shared the same passion in go, architecture, and values in life, even their shoes were chemistrying!! Also apparently, it's canon that they planned the murder of Jeon Jaejun together (KES said it in the commentary) which for some reason it became their little secret cause Dongeun didn't even tell the doctor about it. 😏

This ship was everything. Mature. Sensual. Intelligent. God they were beautiful together, it even surpassed the main ship with the doc even if he was nice. But the husband was playing a whole another (daddy) game 😂😩❤️ Plus I loved the fact that he did say he wanted her to be happy ❤️

In a parallel universe they could be together but given the circumstances and the people involved in this mess it was only rational for him to walk away with his daughter to raise her properly. It was his shoes.....when entering into her house he left his shoes at the doorsteps ... it was an act of kindness as everyone (the bullies) entered in her house with their shoes on but he was different that's why.

Yeah in Korea entering a house without shoes off is a BIG NO NO, Yeonjin didn't take off her high heels when in Dong Eun's place, signifying the disrespect. Do Yeong on the other hand, took off his shoes when entering the flat which shows respect to Dong Eun and her space. Hence Dong Eun, for the sake of Do Yeong, tried to give chances for Yeonjin to repent and Yeonjin screwed it every time.
