It would take years to upload the videos. Plus, he said in a video that he did this because people complained the last time he just put it in one really long video since they couldn't find what they wanted@@luizansounds

I believe that all of them were here already but with the status set to private/unlisted so only people with the direct link could see it. So what he essentially did was changing the status to public on all of them which made them all show up as new videos on the channel despite some of them being here for years, just invisible. I might be wrong tho.

Love That you're branching out into pro audio more. There are plenty of audio engineering videos on just about everything, but your approach and demeanor is perfect especially for people new to this specific world,

from someone who knows a thing or two about pro audio gear and "audio engineering" most of the stuff on youtube is useless at best not this channel tho. More than the vibe, it's actually good information. This video is a great starter on how and why to use a mixer as a multimedia creator. To add something too, yamaha desks have had (in)famously bad mic pre amps when compared to the competition (not sure if this even holds true with newer gear) which is a problem that might come up in a recording studio where you want the best "master tape" (wav files lol) possible but rarely anywhere else - they're more than good enough. Also I think all of their desks are really well labeled and intuitive to use, even as a beginner. (Unless you're using an original 01v96: a feat of engineering but a UI/UX dumpster fire as we all know (and love))

Be careful your mic is compatible with phantom power btw, you might brick it. Dynamic mics aren't as sensitive as condensers so they usually require them to be off.

I use a similar Behringer mixer and it is so great, and was even better when covid hit. Going into a meeting was just pressing a button on the mixer and boom, suddenly my computer audio went to my headphones, instead of the speakers. Amazing stuff, and works even when powered by a phone.

Just FYI, to those of you who still find this video helpful: The new model of the AG06 - the one that has dual USB-C ports for data and power - supports phantom power on BOTH XLR inputs (Channel 1 and Channel 2), simultaneously, which is REALLY HELPFUL if you use an AT2020 or AT2040 mic or similar that requires phantom power, and you want to use more than one mic.

Have the same model. I used it to route audio from my ps4 to my pc so that whenever we played a crossplattform game, people from the pc voice chat could talk with people from the playstation voice chat (years before discord functionality was a thing on consoles). Even nowadays I still route most of my consoles audio to my pc, so that I can use my preferred headphones without constantly plugging them into in between platforms.

My second hand Yamaha mixer from 07' is getting flaky so this is a great review! Was interested in buying because it's much more compact than what i have currently and has voice effects. Although i have owned the AG03 and i had electrical noise from usb power. It was in a different house / country so i don't think I'd get the same issue.

4:57 that auxiliary cable going into the 3.5 to 1/4" adapter is taking left right stereo into a balanced input. that won't sound as good and in some cases with mono audio will cancel. Should use the aux input is that will be set up for stereo, Although I am not sure where they route that. So it might be better to use the RCA jacks.

One of the greatest features of this is being able to send signal from inputs 1/2 through USB, but NOT through the speaker or headphone outputs - so you aren't forced to listen to your own direct signal if you don't want to.

I love the versatility and utility of AG06. One small note, however: my unit, manufactured in 2021, has a rather annoying problem with monitor outputs. For headphones one, the right ear is about 1.5-2 dB (depending on frequency) louder than the left one. For monitors one, the right one is, again, louder - at about 1 dB. Stuck with the problem because couldn’t RMA the unit in time.

I loved my AG03 that I used for about a year at home. I eventually got a Rodecaster Pro, then a Rodecaster Pro 2 (For my use case, that was a mistake). I'm seriously thinking about going back to the AG03 or AG06 for the sake of portability and simplicity.

Been using the AG03 for almost 5 years now. For $70 I've used it for condenser mics, electric guitar, digital piano, multiple headphones, speakers, without having to buy any other interface. The only con is there's a slight reverb out of it for instruments, I don't know if there's a way to fix that.

I don't record, I don't stream, I don't do audio work of any kind. But I still have an audio interface(a cheaper one) just to have both my headphone and my speakers plugged in and control with an actual knob. The fact that I got a samson sr 850 and a c01 mic for less than 90 usd just upped the value of having one

It's kinda nuts how many different products Yamaha has their hand in. My drum kit is a Yamaha kit from the early 2000's and it still sounds great. Most of their stuff is fairly solid as far as I've experienced and 150$ is basically nothing when it comes to sound equipment. Great for just something basic for, like, practice or playing music at a house party at decent quality. These kind of products eeps things accessible when living space can be tight.

Admittedly i'd probably spend the extra now and get a Behringer Flow 8 as it can do more whilst probably being actually smaller than the AG. If you want lots of knobs per CM on a mixer then I present the Roland M-480 line mixer, 24 stereo channels and has some dual potentiometers, so some of the knobs have extra knobs! I have one as my keyboard mixer and two of them were used by Tony Banks on Genesis' way we walk tour.
