Heh! this guy, if I was wealthy, I would have really showered him serious money. Him and his colleagues made our league very competitive and interesting. I use to go to Hearts park from UG, legon just to watch him and his teammates. He was a gem. I’m so sad he wasn’t very successful with his career outside Ghana especially in Europe. He had all the potential to be one of the world best players. I love his confidence and speed. May God bless him for using his skills to serve us.

my fondest memory in his hearts of oak colours was the goal against kotoko in 2002 at Accra . how he intelligently placed the ball on top of the tall kotoko keeper sums up the BORTEY QUALITY 😘 Thanks For The Services , Phobian ♥️ 💛 💙
