It’s good we remind ourselves as a nation to know how our fathers shed their blood to save the nation 🥹 One thing we have to know is that “The Revolution gave birth this archaic Democracy we’re witnessing”. JJ Rawlings and the PNDC shouldn’t be blame because the corruption facing this nation wouldn’t have happen if we were in the Military era. @ayensumarkin96. "Save the Nation" from what? Can you enlighten me as to the offences these men committed. Gen Africa was retired in his village when they went for him. What was his crime? All because he warned them about Flt Lt. Rawlings! Gen Acheampong was also in his village on his retirement when they went for him! This man is arguably one of the best leaders if not the best, considering the little resources Ghana had at that time. Through his leadership Ghana was able to feed itself and even export foodstuff to other countries. Through his leadership Ghana built cars (Boafo and Adom) and buses (Neoplan and Willowbrook); low cost houses (Dansoman, Awudome, Kwadaso, Patasi, Buokrom estates among others). What was his crime? What was Rear Admiral Joy Amedume's crime? He was shot for a bank loan of 50,000 cedis he legitimately acquired with collateral as well as paying of interest. What crimes did Air Vice-Marshall George Yaw Boakye, Colonel Felli and Major General Kotei commit? What Crimes did Justices Fred Poku Sarkodie, Cecilia Koranteng-Addo, Kwadwo Agyei Agyepong and Major Ret Acquah commit? Your inference that you know Kwame by his choice of panelists on his programme is very flawed as panelists from the various political divide were once upon a time invited until the arrogance and lack of respect from some communicators of one party led to their exclusion! Rawlings at the end of his term had not less than two houses with the infamous Jacuzzi bath, he could take his children to the Air Force base and fly fighter jets, taught them how to ride horses at the expense of the tax payer, as well as the huge sum of money ($5m) Abacha gave him, just to mention a few, as well as his cronies amassing wealth for themselves. Now tell me who is more corrupt! If your fathers laid down their lives for this kind of revolution then I'm afraid it was for nothing!!!
