I saw your high praise of Dan Lok in your comment. He is not a "motivator" directly. He is a teacher directly. The interesting feature I believe you were spotlighting was the dynamic that truth clearly perceived provides a foundational something that is like motivation, but far deeper, more useful, and far more lasting! I did not understand Maverick or Okki's comments, other than to say the world is full of children of satan, who live and breathe only to spew hate on their betters.

I would also add 'confusion'. A confused mind will do nothing. Too many sales people confuse their prospects with complicated product features or a poorly presented propositions. Keep it simple and focus on the benefits and business outcomes.

Due to covid I picked up this simple sales job of which I knew nothing of. Still closed three sales in the first month at 3K and 5K. My manager told me things but I ignored and delivered personalised pitches. It is key to believe in the product that you wish to sell and of the prospect's. I wanted reassure I was doing the right thing not listening to my manager and come her to seek guidance. I was right. Thank you for reassuring my trust in myself.

Sometimes, depending on the industry, you may find clients who tell you that they don't need your services. But asking good questions as a salesperson is a key part of our job because through that we can discover the customers true wants and needs. If we know our product well enough, and our service fulfills the prospects needs, it's easier to get a yes.

Dan great topic to talk about today. You know whats funny is we are all in sales every day of our lives. Esp when we are talking to people, to get someone to stop and listen to you is an art and esp if they talk back about the subject with you. The reason is people are in such a hurry today and unless its something they want to talk about they will usually brush people off when they say something and keep going. So if people want to know when is a great time to practice todays topic, i'd say all the time and every chance you get so you can see how people react and also how you react back to hone your skills. Dan, your solution to building trust is all logic focused, but it needs to be emotional. You could talk more about how to used empathetic questions, mirroring, paraphrasing, and summarizing to create trust with the client.

It's so powerful! Here are my 2 cents ✌ Actionable steps: 1. Create an irresistible based on a customer's need (solves the no need & desire issue) 2. Screen through & Qualify the right prospects that you're targetting (solves the no money issue) 3. Create trust by pre-educating them thru your content before you start selling to them (solves the no trust issue) 4. Present your irresistible offer & make them take action now by creating scarcity ie. limited time offer, limited quantity, etc... (solves the no urgency issue)

If you work backwards from trust you can manipulate urgency and desire- if a customer trusts you, finds you authentic they will overcome an urgency lack themselves and come back- if they trust you they will follow your lead to a more desirable (aspirational) offer or product and engage deeper- Always start with trust and with that ypu may even buy time to overcome no money..

When they say call me in 3 months time they won’t want the product 3 mounths later, if I haven’t closed them it shows lack of comfort with my pain, Dan one of your students taught me that without actually teaching me that, he was playing a prospect with a lot of problems, if it was real one and I had closed them and I find myself in tears after the sale I’m growing!

Hi Dan, This is something what most people face followed by the type of presentation where it actually inviting 'Cheap & Difficult' customers every time (like you said in one of your video) and as a result people fail to close the deal. If anyhow, we can able to remember these '5' lines, it would be just great to close anything, I guess.
