Powerful video Sifu. My biggest takeaway is "I want your advice on this"
@cirilosilva83915 жыл бұрын
What I took away from this video was the power of because. Just adding because and explaining yourself you’re more likely to get what you’re asking for. And also I really love changing thank you to you would do the same thing for me. That is brilliant. And I always love changing up my vocabulary to something more positive or something just different. Thank you Sifu!

1. "Because" give a reason as to why 2. Instead of saying "thank you" rather say "You would do the same for me" 3. "Imagine" 4. "I want your advice on this"

How’s your business going?
@Ninof335 жыл бұрын
I’ve tried all kinds of things in my business. I had successful days but mostly tough ones. I just recently realized how extremely difficult my business is and how it will not bring me enough money to be where I want to be. I’m going to Mexico on vacation spend some time there and plan a different business. I have corporation created and always wanted to own multiple businesses under my corporation. I have worked hard invested time and money on the business I have right now but the time came when I realized the business isn’t going to get me anywhere. I will use all the tips your or others have thought me for other businesses. I always wanted to be a business owner and have learned through experiencing my current business that I can and love it. I have a hard work to do again on planning a new business. I don’t mind.

I read that book like 20 years ago and there's one more layer to the word "because". It doesn't really matter what your reason is, in fact you can even just repeat the initial request after the word "because", and even though the reason may not even make logical sense, "because" still works

Ask open ended questions that require more thought from the client. Use "Because", because it gives more information and power to the listener. Use "Why". Same reason as before. "You would do the same for me" creates reciprocity. It is a better response that continues the flow of thought instead of just a "Thank-you". "Imagine" creates an inspired emotion. "I want your advice on this" makes people become invested in your projects.

“If you want money, ask for advice.” Very powerful. If you’re NOT a student of Dan Lok, be careful because you might do it wrong and have people (eventually) run away when you ask for advice. If you don’t want that to be you, click on the links in the description and let’s learn more together!
