@ssj_snake sorry for the late response, but it's all about preference, but since idk you're preference I'll say yes. It's kinda like an Issa Kai, but he never dies but gets all the girls and(spoiler) levels up real fast when he unlocks a new skill witch the more he likes/love a certain person the more XP he gets from slaying monster and forms a party with a blacksmith witch he found after wearing his gear and then asking the front desk for more gear of this dude and then Coincidentally the blacksmith us right next to him Then forms a party with a support that tried to kill him cause she was abused by pitcher adventurers and thought they were all the same but he was like naa I'm a good boy and gave her a second chance THEN Fought in a clan war won it got relly rich. Then the dungeon start producing intelligent monsters that we treated just like humans to other monsters but humans still hated them then like a few goddesses die and then boom season 5 is still yet to come

@@simonpercy1388 S1 is pretty good, S2 skips a lot of the LN and tbh its eh, S3 skips a decent amount of LN concent but it's still good, S4 has a decent amount of slow moments but other than that its pretty fantastic

​@simonpercy1388 (sorry this ended up so long.) take what i say about this series with a grain of salt because I am extremely biased in its favour but personally I think if you exclude the fanservice you're still left with a very solid fantasy adventure story that delivers on some pretty impactful moments of high emotion. At its core it's about a kid trying to live up to his own ideals about being a hero with a solidly written cast of characters. I'd recommend the books but there's 17 of them in English and 19 in total (that's not even counting the 14 books in the side story) but if you want to gain a greater understanding and appreciation for the world, lore and characters then I'd strongly recommend reading at least some of them (particularly volume 8 if you ever make it to season 2 of the anime)

I actually love how Hestia wants to break her oath because of Bell. In Greek mythology, Hestia is a virgin goddess that even Zeus didn’t touch. Like the only one. Zeus did it with a tree ffs. Literally the only god that never hurt anyone she just wanted to stay at her bonfire. Even Athena, who had the same status as a virgin goddess that even Zeus wouldn’t touch, did a lot of heinous things in mythology. Though a lot of that has been altered depending on the poet.
