I notice u dont stone the gags in the middle grounds but I find it funny when you squeeze the eyes to freeze them, I wonder why that happens. ❤💛💚🙏🏽💚💛❤ Always a pleasure to watch you and the team.

Am curious..is it that they av more meat & less bones, y u spear mostly Gags instead of other types of fish..?.
@MAGAisacult2 жыл бұрын
Gags are generally most common and pay $$$ very well. Huge market for fresh grouper on West Fl
@daveobsoleteammo4547 Жыл бұрын
He takes the fish his Commercial Supplier wants him to , and since the Gags are really spooky fish they will leave the area quickly as soon as any shooting starts . Most other species will hang around longer , and so Gags 1st and then whatever else he still has time for .
@locfilms2 жыл бұрын
Do you sell the fish or eat it?
@daveobsoleteammo4547 Жыл бұрын
He is fishing under a Commercial License so he is required to sell EVERYTHING he gets to his Commercial Supplier .
@robertlowery98602 жыл бұрын
why is your plan to always shoot gags 1st,do hogfish pay less or is it another reason
@daveobsoleteammo4547 Жыл бұрын
The Gags scare away really fast when the shooting starts so they want Gags 1st , and then take whatever you can with the time you have left . Most of the other species will stay a little longer .

Glad someone else noticed this. It's not like floating around with compressed air isn't easy enough, may as well do the decent thing and iki the fish out of respect / preserving the quality.

How could you enjoy fishing with oxygen... shame on you and on countries allowing this stuff!
@richardoliver73632 жыл бұрын
I'm a former free diver and to me this is outrageous! The highest form of cheating I've ever seen. We as human have the advantage over all lower life forms because of our intellect, if we wanted to we could take everything out of the ocean. There is no sport in this it's like shooting fish in a barrel. What makes it a sport is the challenge, being able to go down on one breath of air and capturing a fish at depth of a hundred plus feet without the aid of an air tank that's where the challenge comes in. And to make it worse these fish that you are shooting are so docile there's no challenge provided. Try tuna, hundred plus pound Ulua, dog tooth tuna, marlin. This here is a slaughter having so many shaft on hand the way you do the fish haven't got a chance, to me this is cheating totally outrageous! Also just how many fish do you need, did you get them all? So you only stop when there's nothing more to shoot. I'm sorry but this is a shameful display in my book.

This is his job , silly . He gathers certain fish for his Supplier , and the Supplier then sells FRESH FISH to restaurants so there will be fish choices on his menu when you show up for Dinner . He is Spearfishing under a Commercial License so different rules apply , and he takes us along to see what he chose to take and what he chose to not take . This is a job , and not done for Sport Fishing . He cannot keep any of the fish , and EVERYTHING he takes MUST be sold to his Commercial Supplier . HE normally is Fishing out over 100 miles off-shore and normally over 150 feet down . There is now way some person using a snorkel can or will go where he fishes at . It takes lots of extra training and a bunch of extra certification to go play in the deeper water , and they DO NOT use oxygen down there to breathe at those depths .

Scuba diving is unethical! you don't give the fish a chance😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤
@daveobsoleteammo4547 Жыл бұрын
Fishing , any kind of Fishing is not about giving a fish a chance . It is about taking the fish , and most times they go home with you . By using scuba system you will not be taking smaller fish or some species of fish you do not want that would eat your bait and get wounded but you can't keep them .
