Damnei covers are so beautiful they make you want to buy all of them even though you know you're not interested in some of them 😂 I had planned on finishing Malazan this year but that's definitely not happening. I have no brain power left 😂 I want to finish Tawny Man by Robin Hobb, Sword of Kaigen and Brothers Karamazov by the end of the year.

EXACTLY!! i'm like: I don't care if the reviews aren't that good and that the blurb is telling me nothing, i can't say no to that cover LOL OMG Aria, The Sword of Kaigen is AMAZING!! it broke my heart, i still haven't forgiven the author. I think the character work is really well done, and I adore characters that's why i have a great memory of it. Such a shame we didn't get a series of that universe, as the author had first planned, but i still remember that book vividly even though years have passed since i read it. I've actually just started (literaly, half a hour ago), the new book by the author: Blood Over Bright Heaven. One chapter and I'm already destroyed. I really hope you love Sword of Kaigen!! And the others too, of course 💛💛

Did you read Robin Hobb’s series? If not it’s a good one really. She is the master of characters and just beautifully written books. It’s not like Malazan, it has pretty few characters considering and slow but it is just a fantastic story that worth the time. If someone has the money, it’s even in the Folio Society list. Now that’s a special edition.

Hi! I've read the first trilogy in the series. I really enjoyed book two but book three was waaaaay too slow paced for me. I'm thinking about continuing though, her characters are really good and, from what I've gathered, the books only get better. Maybe I prioritize it this year 😌, thank you for the rec!!

Have you heard of 'Little Mushroom' by Shisi? I remember reading it last year and liking it so much that I finished it in one day. When you were talking about how much you love danmei I thought that I had to recommend this work/story to you.

I've heard about it! It's science fiction/apocalyptic story, right?? I didn't have it on my priority list because i prefer fantasy but maybe I need to get out of my comfort zone. I love when books are so good you can't stop reading! Glad you loved it and thank you so much for the rec 😊
