I also noticed that usually when you get to the mushroom kingdom you have completed the game so the moon icons are a mixture of colors, but because you didnt complete it, the game sees it as yellow moons

I think the reason most of it worked is because, when you went to Yoshi’s House, it generated the whole world because you entered a 3D area. Pretty cool actually

You could just get to lake kingdom, cheat your way to the top, go through painting and jump to luncheon kingdom and do what you did after that

There is a glitch in lunchion kingdom salt timer challenge if you get the perfect timing and get the power moon right before the timer goes out, Then do the timer challenge again and the moon will be gone until you die
