@@NicksOnlineTromboneAcademy No Nick, I’m not able to play, but I am blessed with the ability to recognise great playing and tunes that touch the heart. One I keep coming back to is the Passacaglia from Walton’s Henry the fifth. When you hear Shakespeare’s young, newly crowned Henry’s heartbreaking denunciation of poor old Sir John Falstaff, his aforetime drinking buddy, this piece fits the bill

Sometimes at band rehearsals, we would play hymns but in quavers (instead of crotchets as written). I never knew the purpose of that exercise. Thank you for sharing! I will try this during my home practice! And high G is a nightmare! LOL! Glad to see that you're using the Ergobone. I use it too (the chair 'stick').

‘Fill in the notes’ I sometimes call that exercise. Has several benefits simultaneously. Good luck and check that high g position carefully- it’s not yer normal 2nd!
