Regardless I don’t think Pac would have lived past 25. I feel his time was set and if you look at it him staying any longer may have caused him the impact that he have on everyone. But Dre I just felt like that wasn’t his energy and now that I’m older I can clearly see why.

Indeed. It's always interesting to look at things in hindsight, and especially, well hopefully, with a bit more inquired wisdom. Dre was the smartest man in the industry, at the time, to realize getting off that eventual sinking ship at Death Row, was the move. Dre had no interest in being on Death Row anymore when Pac got there. He thought that he had more control being in charge of the talent, and once Suge brought in artists, that didn’t sit right with him. Then all of the extra stuff Suge and the homies were doing at the studios to people, he wasn’t with that. Dre was already working with Jimmy Iovine on a plan to get his own imprint so he wasn’t really trying to be around anymore.

To be totally honest on the death row album back in the day Danny Boy - come when I call was my jam. Still to this day! Was my favourite track on that album. So I think I’ve always acknowledged him based on that tune right there! Then he had slip & slide! A few tunes. His voice is frigging amazing, range, tone !! Beautiful vocals. 👑

Wasnt Dre on House arest at that time ? Because of the dee barnes incident ?
@theonlyswangeo3 жыл бұрын
It was due to a car chase Dre had in ‘94 while driving under the influence, which violated his parole from the Dee Barnes case. This lead to an 8 month jail sentence, through a work-release program spent at a halfway house.

Pac has about 60 unreleased songs to this DAY...#True story To all the Biggie groupies that like to make silly artistical comparisons, Pac was a poet, an actor, a social activist, a sex symbol, an MC, a writer, a dancer, a lyricist, and even more! Biggie was just a lyricist and an MC. That's it. However, I feel like the truth needs to be said for you wannabes out there! Other than that, R.I.P. to both legends brother Tupac Amaru Shakur A.K.A 2Pac and Christopher George Latore Wallace A.K.A The Notorious B.I.G!

@@theetruth8626 @Humphrey obaner I don't know which one of you east coast bitches I should ether first I'll start with thee lie first of all pac ain't have an image like a lot of these WWE characters in the rap game he was a true artist who just spoke how he felt and what was going on in his life true artist don't need some identity or image to sell records so that alone takes biggie and the rest of those east coast characters and gimmicks out of the equation second Humphrey hogart lyricism is subjective now if you wanna say biggie may have been more clever with his rhymes not as witty as pac because pac in the rare occasion he would use wordplay it was more potent and made you think about the line biggie just made you laugh or go ooooh Tupac was more cryptic with his rhyme scheme and can make one line have many different meanings similar to how alternative rock lyricist like Kurt Cobain or Jerry Cantrell would write no other rapper in the game comes close to makaveli except rakim

I used to rock with you Danny boy until I saw the video where you were disrespecting 2pac Makaveli the Don! I can't believe people haven't seen it already! DB are you mad because you feel his death has something to do with you being a nobody in "Hollywood"? I just don't understand how you went in on 2pac like that when your only relevant because of Pac and the tracks you were on with 2pac no doubt they're undeniably timeless. I really couldn't and still can't understand why you spoke so ill of a man who really helped your career

Tupac regurgitated wisdom, he wasn't a wise individual. He was one of the greatest rappers of all time; he was also a performing arts kid who crossed a boundary and believed his own hype. A foolish young man, who paid the consequences.

I think you're forgetting the background that pac came from outside of the short time he spent at that performing arts school in Baltimore. It's a reason he was targeted the way he was. You're also forgetting that he was young asf when all of that was going on he had only been 25 for not even a whole 3 months when he passed.
