Remember this is the real deal. Not some imitator playing what someone like Danny had to come up with on his own. So I'm sure all you pro utube drummers can attempt to play Danny but try coming up with these drum parts like he did, then play them flawlessly day after day in front of thousands of people etc. Nuff said. That's why Danny Octopus Arms Carey is the Best Period.

Completely complicate musicianship, in rossetta stoned he plays 5/14 on the bass drum, keeping 6/8 Pollyrythems on his hands , while the rest of the band plays in 5/14. When the beat drops and Adam solos. Danny is a beast.

His sense of timing is ridiculous. Not only is this track chaotically polymeter/polyrhythm, Danny apparently dislikes click tracks so they record without one (or least track the drums without one, which is NOT standard procedure for recording music)

well good luck with that alonso, adam jones and danney carey are a couple of the beat around, i dont know that much about playing the music, timing, percussion ect are what tool uses, very very hard to reproduce anything tool has, you will never see tool songs at a karaoke
