I really don't get why the Carters got one of these. They'd only been in it for about two years at this point. Even Kelly and Danny are talking like they'd been in it for decades.

That's cos their the best family to be introduced since the Slaters, and they were involved in so much in their first year. The Linda storyline dominated a lot in the build up to the 30th anniversary.
