My sister went to that concert and she was so overwhelmed with joy when Danny came on, she actually started crying!

This is terrible, but I'm actually kinda glad Coachella got postponed because I didn't know about this before and now maybe I'll have a chance to go see it! 😂

Very cool! Cant wait to see. I still respect that he doesnt want a Boingo reunion, as amazing as it would be to see him play some songs again and meet up with the band, but let’s face it he put all his energy into it for years and there’s no point recreating the past. A lot of my favourite bands have reunited and even though the shows are fun, sometimes I feel like theyre just an older imitation of a once great thing. I hope Danny puts a blazing solo album out after this!

I love hearing how Danny felt/feels about the 2013 Albert Hall show. I was there, and it was magical.

Danny...is there any chance you might come across this comment? If you happened upon it, or if someone you know comes upon it please know this...we don't want a reunion because to us Oingo Boingo remains alive. For those of us who had a chance to be with you in the past, we all felt alive. I ask for you to consider making us feel alive again...you are amazing!

I was at Boingo's last performance ever. They were the best live band I ever saw and that's over over a 100 bands I did see. (I saw Metallica, Nirvana, Janes Addiction, Beasty Boys, Guns and Roses, etc)

It's sad, but Oingo Boingo is only a memory. No matter if the whole band got together again. It can never be what it was. So many bands stay past their prime, I'm glad Oingo Boingo said goodbye at their best. That's how I want to remember them. Look what's happen to The Who, once one of the best rock and roll bands in the world. Now two old farts, only playing for the money. Danny Elfman is still sharing his unique vision of music. It's just in different forms now.

Danny, why can't you embrace your Ongio Boingo day's and accept the fact that this is why we are (,at least some of us) in part fans of Danny Elfman and have been for more than 40 years ... we love all of your music and we want to hear it LIVE.

You know, I'm terrified of most things in the world, but for some reason, when going on stage, the 'fuck it' kicks in, and it's a lot easier to do than, say, making a phone calls. Probably because being on stage is so removed from most everyday things that it almost feels like it's not real. It feels like stepping through a portal into a parallel reality, and that makes the consequences of any kind of failure less scary.

I have a solution for his hatred of reunions. Get the boys back together simply under "danny Elfman". Just don't call it oingo boingo. Just play a set with your old friends. Semantics? Sure, but whatever it takes.

He did that with his fourth album.

@StefanKirby4 жыл бұрын
It's a large music festival which happens every year in Southern California. Yeah, it's a little like Woodstock, in that it's a music festival, with lots of bands and lots of people, lots of drugs, and lots of garbage left behind afterward.
