My word. 4m30 would be where i change my underpants for the first time, nevermind finishing. Seeing a pro riding the trails you know really puts into perspective how bonkers fast they are. Hats off to you Danny, great footage! I'm going to lie down now for a bit and process what i just witnessed.

Danny has got to be one of the most unassuming riders out there. However.....he’s a top ten UCI DH rider! Love this guy!

I am so glad to see world-class elite rider struggling there. I almost thought I'm crazy when I thought this track is ridiculous. For my recreational level it was barely unrideable on some sections. Anyways, Gibim is awesome :)

It is a good track, we only rode for 1 day, but I will definitely go back.

Oh yeah! Home sweet home! In 2014 I broke my wrist at 2:51 😅😅 it's amazing to see one of the best riding our home track! Unbelievably fast! If the gopro wouldn't stabilize the video so much, everybody could feel what you had felt when filming! 🥁🍻☄️
@simedinson9843 жыл бұрын
intresting spot for doing that also where is this? (is it just the go pro that makes it look kinda tame or?)
@onesquirrel2713 Жыл бұрын
Insane how easy Danny makes it look. I tried to ride this track a month ago, how hard cold it be, right? Very, let me tell you. Many of the sections were barely ridable for me, even after walking fist and looking for the smoothest line.

This is literally crazy to see. As a mountain biker who loves big jumps and have 0 problem riding any downhill tracks... I have to say... Schöckl it's not worth it for non-pro riders (training ground) in my opinion... Reward will never outweigh risk on such rough terrain. Steep, sharp and pointy rocks with a lot of steepness as well. If you fall be prepared to get few stitches in best case... (I've been there 1 week ago and I literally walked lower part of downhill track because I didn't feel like taking a risk just to feel good...) "No f*cking way someone actually ride this" was my reaction to the lower part of that DH track. + conditions in the video are 100 times better then last week. So imagine riding steep, sharp terrain without being able to stop.
@pb85823 жыл бұрын
Go pro are funny you look at the video and you probably think you could do that... Fact are most of us won't even be able to walk it 😂 What a run absolute beast Danny!!!

OMG! HAHA That speed and pumping looks so unreal! WTF! When this track looks that hard on Gopro I can imagine how crazy it is in real life! Unbelievably steep and technical! If you look for another really difficult track here in Austria you have to check the new Prolitzen at the Gerlitzen in Carinthia/Kärnten. This is the same type of track!

Having ridden Schoeckl back in 2014, I think the Nordkette Trail in Innsbruck is harder (not even sure whether it would work with a modern super long DH bike). Haven't ridden the Feuerkogel Trail and it looks closed this year, but videos here on YT suggest that it also has a legit claim to the title hardest bikepark trail in Europe. Good luck for the upcoming season!
@danny_hart3 жыл бұрын
Interesting! I have never rode that trail in Innsbruck.
@thedadtones83603 жыл бұрын
Might be worth a visit for a fun day (but perhaps not WC training, as the track is so different), if you are in Innsbruck anyway.
@floimschnee42753 жыл бұрын
I think Feuerkogel and Schöckl are equal in terms of difficulty. Nordkette: quite some time ago that I've been there. I think it is even harder. All of them great for sure!

The schöckl trailcenter is ridiculous. On their homepage the trails look like fun singletrails. But they are not 😂 First time I went there I had a 130mm trailbike 🤷♂️ You should ride this tracks in rain. They will become a nightmare.
