I did not get a surgery my church prayed over me my youth and young adult leaders and my peers in the group came and laid hands on me people I have known my whole life and strangers prayed over me for a miracle. I am healed my spine is straight! We serve a supernatural God who does super natural miracles. He had provided food when we couldn’t afford it. I have been struggling with praying and spending time with God because I thought there was a structured way of doing it. I thought God didn’t love me because I wasn’t at home spending an 1 hour and a half praying and reading the word. I missed the whole point of being intimate with God. @@onenesspentecostalism6866 trying not to sin is one of many signs that you are a Christian. It’s not works based salvation, it’s something you do because you’ve been saved, if your life is characterized by sin then you prove to not be a Christian at all.

You will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38 shows that you have to try to not sin in order for Jesus to take you to heaven.

Jesus told the prostitute to sin no more, before you can be saved you need to be actively turning from sin, only someone whom God has awakened to the sight of their sin will turn from their sin. You have to acknowledge that you have sinned and ask for forgiveness and ask Jesus to come live in your heart and help you daily to strive to be like Jesus...accepting Jesus into your life is the way to Heaven.
