We had 2 small pecan trees on our property, but they were dead. So sad because I love pecans, and they are getting so expensive!

If those are seedlings of grafted plants, they are each and every one unique. They will run the gamut between atrocious and incredibly wonderful. It will probably be worth your while to propagate the best of them, and you have already demonstrated how to air layer your hardwoods.

Going to look into the bone sauce. Haven't had to use it yet, but might be needing it at some point.

Interesting how the bone sauce works there but here I watched a deer come up to a tree I had it on and she actually licked it. Didn't faze them a bit.

Right now, the rabbits are causing us more problems than the deer. And they seem to know when you're planning on harvesting them & the stay away.
