Danny loves the woods and meows at the end!

Ginger cat Danny walked today in the woods in Cornwall. He loves his walks more than anything, and we have always loved watching Danny enjoy his walks in nature. He did however let us know at the end that he was not comfortable, with the big meow! We always make sure that Danny is nearby, but he wasn't happy. He will be pampered as always this evening!

Danny looks great! He is so aware of his surroundings, and it's a peaceful journey to watch him go for his walk. Thank you for not playing music -- I like to hear the natural sounds of birds and crunching leaves underfoot. Great video.

We don't think Danny ventures very far on his own anymore. He used to go quite a distance, but we think that perhaps he feels a little more vulnerable now that he is older, and perhaps his senses may not be as sharp. He is very confident when we are with him though 😀

Besides the woods being a great adventure for Danny, especially with all the bird calls, and sounds, I believe he really loves knowing there are so many trees he can escape up. He also has many places he could hide. He is just amazing how he listens to you. You all have such a special bond. ❤🐈✨

Thank you for your kind words! Danny just loves the trees so much. He really feels at home in the woods with us. When he was younger he would venture out on his own but he will only go with us now, which makes his walks even more exciting for him!

You and Danny have such varied and beautiful places to hike and explore! What I really love about your outings is you allowing Danny space to explore on his own, all the while he knows you’re there. I find this just amazing.. I have a cat and no way would he behave in that grand manor...I think there is a total bond of trust between you and Danny, , I wonder if he has always been like that since a kitten. how long have you had him and did you train him to be like this .. this focused good solid stay close cat? I hope you share his story at some point . The woods there is glorious too. He was too far away maybe at the end and let you know it ha ha. Wonderful he met two of his followers. I wonder if you know Theresa Hitchman in Cornwall and also another lady who posts a lot hmmm she is a walker too . I will find out her name again. Thanks you very much Merri, we are very grateful for your kind words! We adopted Danny from a rescue center in Cambridge UK when he was 6 weeks old, and he is now eleven and a half years old. We have always been very close to Danny and he has always felt safe with us, and so I guess he has evolved from that feeling of security to be the confident chap he is today. OH THANKS for writing us we just love your Danny Boy for sure. My own rescue here was badly beaten in his head and rear end when I scooped him out of the courtyard here in Northfield, Mn ... he was very traumatized and still is skitterish no matter what I do for him. So I just pray for him.. to be whole and forget the past ,but it is hard fr=== for him I had seven cats up in Virginia Minnesota when I ran my Willow House BeD and Breakfast up there.. all one litter I found and kept them .. all...raised them .. on a bottle... and had them some of them fifteen year or more. One last one got h= me moved here, CHEOPS.. and when He passed on I asked God if he wanted me to have another to bring me one..and that is when I saw Bart below my balcony here starving. . He is such a sweetheart. ns hw has WINDOW SEATS IN EACH WINDOW IN THIS APARTMENT. has HIS OWN ROCKER TOO. AND FUZZY BLANKET AND TOYS AND ALL OF IT... SO HE AND i ARE TOTALLY GRATEFUL FOR EACH OTHER. . i SURELY LOVE YOUR VIDEOS AND MARVEL AT YHOU BOTH THERE WITH YOUR SWEET BOY...( FORGIVE THE SIE IN THE LETTERS CHANGING HERE. @@dannycatyoung yes she is she had lots of cats it's the way she liked things .yes it does make you think harder about family that aren't here the Christmas lunch nan usedto cook from scratch hours in the kitchen she spent .she was a Christmas baby ,so she went all-out then .the trifle ithink was the masterpiece huge wobbly and unhealthy lol and it had enough booze init to make you a bit squiffy 😂😂😂 all you hadto was todrink the liquid at the bottom which she usedas sauce lolthouse were the days

Danny Treelover Cat Young - he jumps onto the fallen trees looking for one he fancies climbing - since he can't see one he fancies, he jumps onto walls and roofs where silly dogs can't go

Danny never misses an opportunity to jump on things 😀 he couldn't quite find the tree to climb so he chose the next best thing! Although he did eye up a couple of trees but thought better of it.

"aka Old Yeller" so dubbed by rescue org. they knew him. even sent me a pic from the work site where he resided with other cats. even before he came home with me. who knows really b/c he's from the block and I have seen him for years on and off. Vet guessed he's 2 yrs but I know better.
