I think Danny phantom would work so great as a live-action series, something similar to supernatural/ Wednesday/ early CW flash. Hunting down the ghosts, finding out the dark backstories, expand on the fact that danny technically died but being he was in between realms he technically cancelled out his own death and just re-arrange his own molecules becoming something in between. The character dynamic would be something similar to how it is CW DC shows (the tech nerd, the love interest/ person giving intel in the field/ backup). have it have a big villain of the season with a different ghost villain each episode. Etc.

Looks amazing. You did really good with the special effects. Though if they really made this I fear it would probably be disappointing like so many other live action adaptation movies. Dragonball Evolution, The Last Airbender, etc. There's actually too many to name. Not sure why hollywood is so set on ruining their classics. Who am I kidding it's because they know even if they turn out to be disappointing people will still flock to see them out of nostalgia. There's been so many live action adaptations and precious few of them that live up to the source material. I wonder if it's just that they were originally animation for a very good reason, as there's just stuff that can be done in animation that is much harder or impossible in live action unless you spend a truckload of time and money on special effects, and sometimes not even then. With animation they basically have full control over every detail, CGI you have to blend it together with the live action.

Based on the trailer including a 1980s Halloween, I’m going to assume this movie adapts the episode Masters of All Time and the town being covered by green fog makes me think that it’s also going to adapt Reign Storm. The Morbius clip of him saying “I’ve always been watching you” makes me think he’s supposed to be Vlad Masters. (Yes, I know this is a fan made trailer for a non-existent fan film.)

As anyone can see from this trailer that this particular film took place after Ghostbusters 2. Danny phantom has also shown in this official trailer that it kick started Ghostbusters : answer the call. The reason I say that is because you can see clearly see Kristen wiig. Miss wig is the actress who played Aaron Gilbert from Ghostbusters answer the call. So this confirms that Danny phantom is a ghostbuster movie. A ghostbuster movie in its own unique way
