Danny's Lit, Michelle's Ready to Quit and Jax Ain't It (The Valley Full Recap)

What's up Bros? We are getting close to the season finale of The Valley and what a season it's been. Danny overindulges in this episode and we see him and Nia get into an uncharacteristic spat at the dinner table. Nia handles it well but it looks like the stresses in Danny's life boiled over. Granted Jesse seems to be taking little digs at him to rile him up... Project much? Jax is still the worst as he continues to drag Brittany but not understand that she may be done with him at some point. Brittany while speaking to Janet lets the viewers know that she is willing to divorce Jax if things don't change. Doute continues to be on the outs with everyone as her and Zack are still exiled from the group. Michelle is completely done with her marriage at this points and while Jesse claims that they're working on things, you can tell that he is sort of aware of that too... Things are getting messy as the season finale draws near and this season has been pretty damn great... All that and more in today's episode!

Thank you so much for the Jax rant. I share your horror with the pass he receives when he is actually an abusive sexist monster. Brittany obviously has work to do in the codependency department to get strong enough to see him for who/what he truly is and jettison him out of her life but no one deserves to be humiliated and abused by another especially their husband.

Brittany CANNOT take Jax back!!!! He is so undeserving of her respect and love. Jax treats her so bad and pretty much always has from what has been shown. Wealthy people would NEVER spend $20,000 on one meal. I have wealthy friends and you would never know it. They are not flashy. Pay cash for most everything they have.

Brittany is a battered woman. Maybe Jax hasn’t knocked her lights out (?) but he has psychology gaslighted (it’s an over used term but in this case he has) into believing no want wants her and she has no value. Cruz was born for a reason and had to be on this earth but the fact that she’s even speaking to him is pretty shocking. It’s been bothering since I watched this episode this is abuse and not cool to watch. Brittany chose her life with Jax. It’s her lesson in life to get out of it. Boy her family has got to be fuming over this…. Bravo Stassi & Beau for runaway if away from these two. That fallout had to be because Jax was jealous that Beau got Stassi.

The only thing I disagree with is Brittany’s family. It was obvious her dad had Jax’s number but her mom saw exactly who Jax was back in the apartment. I think she was so wowed by the show and fame aspect she encouraged Brittany to move forward with Jax. Shameful.

Yeah Jax sucks for how he treats Brittany but I'm shocked he's dating some girl twenty years younger and hanging out at his bar all night all while Britt is navigating the issues with Cruz and doing all the therapies and all the appts and being on call to a neurodivergent toddler from literally the moment he wakes to the moment he's fully asleep. Trust me I know how hard it is. And I have a partner that's really great with our kids and helps a ton but those neurodivergent boys are stuck to momma All Day Long!! It's an incredible amount of stress when your baby is special needs. My heart goes out to Britt. But I feel strongly if she just goes back to KY she could find a nice hard working country boy who adores his wife and helps with Cruz and they can have more babies and live happily ever after.

To answer your question about why the audience isn’t up in arms about Jax’s cheating versus Sandavol is because we’ve always known Jax to be this awful and toxic. He has a history of being a piece of s*hit. He cheated on Britney on the show and cheated on his gfs before that. This is who he is

I too feel that Jax is more than I can take and wonder why the fans accept his behavior... ... I'm glad Doute wasn't on the trip, I think we got to some good sincere conversations that allowed us to get to know the other cast members better. Where as if Doute were there I think the havoc she would have created would have had people too unset to open up the way they did, once again certain people wpuld have faded I to the background and all the conversations would have been about Doute... it was important to give the other cast room to shine. Doute is fireworks and is important when the scene becomes stagnant otherwise she dominates the scene but not in a good way. I actually think this show could be good without Doute, the other cast members have so much going on in their lives that is sincere and relatable. Doute is too much the VPR type drama and this group is too grown up for her to fit in. She could go back to VPR because she matches with their emotional maturity level.
