It was A Great night recording this song, I sung it till I was out of breath, I wanted it to be right.

I remember flying all the way from London with some friends to see Danny play on a Friday night in New York around 2000. Being a massive Sasha and Digweed fan and knowing how much they rated him, I had to check him out in his hometown. It was utterly brilliant. At one point he even got out a massive theatre light and started shining it at punters in the crowd. Legend. Thanks Danny for making all our lives that little bit brighter.

Was this at Vinyl the smaller venue with excellent sound, or his Tunnel Residency? Both were 🔥

The primitive gear they had then is the real reason house was so special. It added grit and warmth to the music, and they were limited to what they could do so they had to be really creative and inventive back then, unlike the unlimited amount of gear we have now. The outcome in the standard of music back then is obvious. People now aren't producing tracks that come close to this even with today's tech. That says it all really. True talent back in the day.

Gosh the 90's-ness of this video is so charming. I love it. I love how excited the guy in the chair gets to start playing the rest of the track. Must have been some magic to be around it all back then.

at 2:19, Danny says "pull up the bass"?!? So up to there, these guys only had the drum part of the song? Thus, there might not be such exact edit 😞
