Danny Thompson: Born of Racing royalty and carved his own path to conquer the Bonneville salt flats

Danny Thompson, son of racing legend Mickey Thompson went on his own to pursue his passion for racing. Without the approval of his famous father, he did everything he could to create his own racing legacy and finished with blasting across the salt flats at close to 500mph to leave his name forever etched in history.
On this episode we sit down and talk about how growing up around all things racing can have an impact on a young mind. Starting at the age of ten, racing and winning in quarter midgets, to having it all go away until he turned 18. His story is a lesson in perseverance and never taking no for an answer.
