It was Slam City Jam 2 or 3 (the 1995 one) and I was scoping all the famous faces courtesy of a media pass (thanks Matt). and I noticed this one tall, older looking blond dude with a wide brimmed straw hat skating in the staging area. Suddenly someone called "Danny!" and he looked, and I did a double take: it was Way, whom I hadn't seen since his surfing injury, and he seemed about a full foot taller than when I saw him in Virtual Reality, taller even than his quick take update at the end of Second Hand Smoke. Was that a posture thing?

I attended slam city jam Vancouver in the 90s. Remember Colin there. Took a pic with Mike Vallely. I skated Embarcadero back then too. I always return to old skate clips on KZbin
