Our family is Japan-Loving Thais!!! However, we concentrate mainly on Hokkaido. When we go, we go in the winter or spring. We do the tobogganing and skiing. For food, as usual, being Thai, we love buffet crab. For site-seeing, we visit Otaru, small village by the sea, east of Sapporo City. Have a GREAT TIME!!!

I eat Pad Kra Pao Moo or gai for dinner or lunch at least 3-4 times a week..have my "secret" +70 old lady near me, that has a little "hole in the wall"restaurant place +30 years with 4 tables and chairs outside and its fantastic She serves a gigantic portion for 70 baht (under 2$ ) and really spoils her customers with smiles and jokes around.

I guess they wrote the name of the restaurant as PadKraPaw Original. Because some street food restaurants make PadKraPaw with other vegetables as well. Sometimes add baby corn, yardlong beans. which the original PadKraPaw does not include.😊

The ancient PadKraPaw also uses dried chilies. So it is a deeper spiciness. If it were a normal restaurant, they would only use freshly pounded chilies. The spiciness will be different. I can't explain in words how different they are. It might be compared to the word deeper. For example, if you say it in numbers, it's level 3. If comparing between the one that just added 3 fresh chilies and the one that added 3 fresh chilies mixed with dried chilies as well. The spiciness may be the same, but the version with dried chilies will be more deeply spicy.🤔😱

@@danny_and_diggy Amount of water in chili It's an important variable because water makes capsaicin. (The substance that gives the spiciness in chili peppers) works more easily. Fresh chilies have a high amount of moisture, which helps make the spiciness disappear faster. As for dried chili, it is a way to preserve food by making the water in the chili evaporate completely but the amount of casaicin remains the same.😅

@@danny_and_diggy If using scientific principles The spiciness level will be the same. But the feelings will be different. In some Thai dishes, dried chilies are roasted again to increase the aroma of the chilies. It depends on the type of food and what kind of feeling you want. If you have ever studied Thai cooking, you will know that in Tom Yum there are some leaves that are added but we don't eat them. And when adding some types of leaves, you must first tear or brown them in order to release the odor or oil. Or the lemongrass must be crushed a little to release the oil and increase its aroma. These little techniques, if foreign chefs do them without knowing this technique. The same food can taste completely different.

My fondest memory of Tokyo is simply going to Family mart or 7 eleven for zaru soba and onigiris. Of course a good bowl of Ramen or udon too 😋 at any restaurant. You guys will have so much fun as Japanese people are so polite. 🙏

We do not have many clothes yes you are right 👍 We don't have a lot of money to buy new clothes all the time and also we rather spend money on something else then clothes. When our clothes get old or damage we get new ones 👍 Why do we need to have a lot of clothes anyway lol it's not a fashion show 😉
