DannyB Does | Thank God I'm A Country Bear | from The Country Bear Vacation Hoedown

Whenever I visited Disneyland after moving back to TN as a young pup, I'd never miss the animatronic shows like Tiki Room and these ursine entertainers. Hearing Southern bears bellow The Beach Boys always made me feel right at home. Being a Nashville native, I LOVE country music. (You know, older GOOD country music.) There's of course no track for this cover so I chopped up a John Denver karaoke track (and I knew the theme park version before Johnny's), lowering the key and even having to program a key change. This took me a while to figure out and record nearly EVERY bear character voice singing together. Had a LOT of fun with this. ENJOY!

Daniel Bissell just to let you know, whenever I watch the end of the country bear vacation hoedown. And even the end of the original country bear jamboree, were all the Bears come out and they sing together. It's almost like the song we are the world, as you know everybody thinks that the song is a Michael Jackson song. It's true in a way, because Michael wrote the song and Lionel Richie co-wrote the song, it was produced by them and producing composed by Quincy Jones as well. But the song we are the world was more than Michael jackson, it had been sung by other celebrities of singer and musicians from the 1980s. I remembered Kenny Rogers was on the song, as well as Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Kenny loggins, Bruce Springsteen, Steve Perry, Cyndi lauper. And a long list of other celebrity singers and musicians that participated in singing that song. So whatever song the Bears from the two country bear shows sing together at the end of the shows, and whatever song they sing together. To me I always think is like the Country Bear version of we are the World

Daniel Bissell I'm not sure, but are you going to record other songs from The original Country Bear jamboree show ? Because soon I would like to hear the songs from that original classic Disney theme park show, and I'm hoping if you record all of the songs from that show. I hope you can do extended versions of those songs, like when they were first recorded before they were adapted for the Country Bear jamboree. And at the same time I hope you can give a very unique voice to those characters, when you record extended versions of the songs featured from the original Country Bear jamboree

Because all of those bears had very unique voices and personalities, so I'm glad that you took the exact same voice qualities and the magic of them. And re-recorded and dubbed those voices

Daniel Bissell just ask you, are you going to record the other songs that were featured from the country bear vacation hoedown ? Like are you going to record the song that was done by liver lips McGrowl ? Please do that one, because I want to hear that rocker sound of the guitar, and I want to hear an Elvis Presley like voice that you can do for that character. Because if I like hearing a short version of that song from the country bear vacation hoedown, I hope to hear an extended version of that song. That you can do, and I hope you can give that bear character the same type of voice like from the show. An Elvis Presley like voice

Daniel Bissell just to let you know very soon, if I hear extended versions of the song from both the country bear vacation hoedown and the original Country Bear jamboree. And that you give a unique voice to the bear characters, when you record extended versions of those songs from the two shows. Very soon when I hear those songs recorded by you, and dubbed by you. And I hear extended versions of those songs, I will feel like as if they are a single that had been sold and recorded from any of those bears. When I listen to those songs. I could also imagine that if I hear those Bears singing those songs, and the songs are extended versions. Like how they were when they were first recorded before they were adapted for the country bear vacation hoedown and Country Bear jamboree. I will imagine, when I hear those songs from those lovable cuddly and unique bears. It will feel like, as if they came from a record company or label that would be called country bear records. That's what I will imagine, when I listen to those songs that will be recorded and dubbed by you
