fun thing I learned, the lightroots correspond to shrines in the overworld. idk if this is common knowledge and I’m just a dumbass, but i thought it was kinda cool when I figured it out.

Yeah I think the shrines are like seeds or something, and the Lightroots are the roots of those seeds stretching into the earth. There's a shrine on a floating island that's close enough to the ground to not be on the sky map, I think it's near Kakariko and that region's tower. You can see a root going down from where the shrine is into the ground, which means you're probably looking at the very top of the corresponding Lightroot.
