Kim Vacco Just to give a little background, Kierra Shears comes from a long history of musical legends Kierra Sheard is the daughter of gospel artist Karen Clark-Sheard. Karen was the youngest in a sister group called the Clark Sisters, who have been singing the late 60's. They recorded hit gospel records such "You Are The Sunshine," "Endow Me," Jesus Is a Love Song," and "Is My Living In Vain?" To this day they are considered one of the best vocal groups ever. Kierra's grandmother, Mattie Moss Clark, served as National Minister of Music for the Church Of God In Christ denomination. She is also credited for creating the three-day harmony.
