I’m legit ready to cry for them. It’s a bit surreal because I know they are just people who had this “thing” happen but, they were so impactful to so many of us who were of a generation. I think I was like 14-15 when it premiered and to see people Norman or Heather or Julie - people I would have never known in my real life at that age; these people left an indelible mark on my heart and I too would love to check in with them once a year to see how they’ve grown and changed and see how I have as well.

Very fun to see the cast again! I remember being in Soho when they were filming an argument out on the sidewalk and walking past them. We would always go around trying to see if we could bump into one of them.....NYC in the early 90s!

I graduated high school in 92, this show was life back then. I member being so amazed by it. At the time i didnt watch much tv, i mostly listened to music. But this was the show i watched weekly and my friend would record it on vhs for me because i didnt ha e cable or vcr. I had only known about it because i saw 1st episode at my friends and was hooked.

It's so great to see this groundbreaking series rebooted. Several generations now can see the evolution of reality TV. The topics discussed back then are still issues today, in spite of what appeared to be progress. Norman was easily the most important person in the show in my opinion. I gave me and the world a honest presentation of a gay man in America. Classy and at the same time just real. I was young and ignorant about that lifestyle, but willing to learn what was acceptable and what was not while interacting with members of the LGBTQ community. Also to not be afraid to ask questions. Music broke down that barrier for me. I worked at Camelot Music at the time. Selling music to people of all kinds and conversation did it and working with them as well. We, just like the Real World cast are still friends to this day. Easily some of the best times of my life. Sorry to babble, great interviews by the way! This was my first visit to your channel on KZbin!.

I’ve only seen the first 1/3 seasons of this series TRW and so far THIS is my favorite cast. Their dynamic is incredible and was brilliantly done. It’s the only season I’ve seen so far where I genuinely like all 7 cast members. Season 2 Los Angeles was fun to watch as well but the dynamic just missed the mark. That cast didn’t have much of a connection at all in my opinion, they didn’t seem to like each other. I wonder if they’ll do a reunion season??
