beautifull venue... pike are one fish ive never had the slightest bit of interest in unfortunately..... although im willing you on for a 3lb perch this winter... nice one

Hiya Danny, what a perfect start to your Pike season as i don't think that it could have gone any better for you. What a stunning venue that screams Pike, i cant recall ever seeing you Lure fishing but it has made a great addition to the channel. I didn't know about the Fox relicant rod so i will go and google the hell outta it :) It was good to see you using a Baitcaster reel, what do you think of them please? Is there any chance that you could show us how to load a baitcaster spool with Braid including the best knot to tie it on with please? Allot of the video's are from America which are quite good but i would much prefer you (and your Northern acent) showing us how to do it :) All the best & tight lines. My family has got that used to my phone going off at 5pm every Friday that when they hear it they say "that'll be Danny"

lol that made me laugh the last bit it sounds mad but i dont imagine people watching the videos. erm the baitcaster i have had years form company called piscifun but when i respool it i will cover how i do it for you. i k now i should put more lure fishing on the channel as i do go for them and perch quite a bit but i just dont seem to make a video i need to sort that lol

Ive been lure fishing for pike for like 30 years.. for one ive never used antiseptic on a wound.. (never had a infection cause of it). Another thing i dont do is using a net or laying a pike down on the ground.. i might use a net if i catch a 30 from the boat.. Also i never support the pike for a release.. i do quick release the fish.. pike lays still on the bottom most of the time.. so its fine if they dont swim away right away.. the thing thats worse for the fish is handeling it..touching the skin with ur hands.. laying the fish down.. I catch like 30-40 pike in a session if i dont handle them well i could ruin the whole stock.. thats why i fish like that.. Also i dont like to carry a net if it isnt really needed.. lugging it around for 10 miles is a lot... fishing lures in holland is different from uk fishing though.
