Small tangs like silver spot tang or Tomini tang would be a nice addition, the silver spot tang was the best for pick algae of the rocks, I've just had to replace him with a blue eye Kole tang. Your tank is definitely big enough for some larger fish, I mean it's 8ft long 👌🏼

I think the goby, shrimp combo would be awsome in this tank. Some gobies naturally team up with certain species of shrimp in the wild and make a burrow its very cool and would also look very cool in this tank I feel! :]

Beautiful tank, to avoid a problem in the future you may want to consider breaking your no filtration rule. Adding at least a small sponge or any sort of filtration medium in the filter as you will eventually have a build up of material inside the pump where the sponge would prevent it from entering and burning your pump. Just trying to avoid any sort of mechanical breakdowns!

Tank is looking really nice and natural! Mollies are adaptable in regards to salinity and do just fine in saltwater, they are often bred in high-temperature brackish water ponds as they are more disease-prone in freshwater. They are very sensitive to low temperatures however. In regards to transmission of disease from freshwater fish to saltwater, most of the common diseases are not transmissable (marine ich is not the same disease as freshwater ich). However, Mycobacterium infection can spread from freshwater to marine, this infection is also quite common in livebearers especially guppies, so is good practice to always quarantine if possible. Love the new hawkfish, they are so full of personality! You are not worried it eventually will snack on your shrimp? Pipefish would look great in this setup btw!

The glass surface skimmer intakes suck, I have tried those before. They can only function in a VERY limited range of water surface level, if the water surface drops just slightly it will start sucking air into your external filter. If your filter is too strong it will start suck air into it anyway. I only ever had problems with those on multiple tanks! You will need auto-topups of water in your system to keep surface level stable to even begin thinking about using this surface skimmer intake.

I'm sorry, but I really need to say this, I am shocked at the size of the Asparagus Fern. It was very small when you planted it. You did well to take out the infested plant and vacuum everywhere. I have recently done a new setup for a gentleman called Mike from the KZbin channel #FishByMike and I have planted a couple of Baby Asparagus Fern Plants so hopefully they will grow nice and big. He is still to get Fish. But perhaps Once he does he might do a video for us to see. Anyway, keep up the good work and take care, Sir. P.S. You do not have a horrible accent. 🤙🏼🙂🤙🏼❤️

For plant pests you can basically always find a specific predator like predatory mites, parasitoid wasps,... You absolutely do not need chemicals or a trash can to deal with it. (and compared to the costs of everything else in your system it's really cheap)

If you are talking about the fish that appeared after the clownfish it’s probably called the blue eye cardinal, Ostorhinchus compressus, they are native to west indo pacific and have many other names, I could have also been wrong because the ones in the video have an inverted pattern to the ones online.
