I think the plot is, and someone correct me if I am wrong, that Sebastian and Kurt are secretly dating and that their friends don't like Sebastian, therefore the secret realtionship. Finn and Rachel wasnt to see what's up so they spy and find Sebastian and Kurt in a motel together. And they approach them both, and they seem to support the relationship. But that's just what I understood.
