I loved the slackline and am beginning to take back what I lost since I left the Walker behind. Beginning to take balansing lesseans from a cirkus teacher in Sweden called herself Anya, she is my trainer and makes me train with a plank on the floor. Hope I get to the poijn t when I walk on Stylts.

Why turn the music off near the end of the video? I mean who doesn't want to listen to music over the athletes and the crowds?

could someone help me find the song? I'm not finding it by searching for beckmann!
@dannystrasser2 жыл бұрын
Hi Jadson, sorry to say this, but you will probably not find this song anywhere because Beckmann is only producing music for commercials and movies.

To zoomed in. So zoom out next time ( for some shots )
@Benito202426 жыл бұрын
Nothing worse than a photographer trying to be cool and zoom in on the action while so much is moving :) You see it time and time again in soccer and everywhere, just ruins the experience in my opinion. Tripod and stable your camera so we can actually see what's going on.
@dannystrasser6 жыл бұрын
Actually I didn't zoom in on the action in order to be cool. I zoomed in because I intended to play with slow motion (I had a camera with 100 fps on full format sensor), and this kind of motion speed this is quiet challenging to stick close to. I wanted to get the viewer right into the action and I think the slow motion works very well for that, still showing very well what's going on. Besides that, I used 2 more DSLR cameras mounted on tripods and a GoPro for POV shots. But tastes are different, and I respect your opinion. Thanks for your thoughts.
@Benito202426 жыл бұрын
Yes I get your point and if that was the intention then for sure you got it. I guess the editing is what may have caused the fatigue that I experienced and other commentators, perhaps the effect of being close is nice for a couple of seconds. I notice the same thing in new video clips and especially during soccer games. The guy with the camera is zoomed in either by the choice of lens or feet and they want to communicate the action, but they end up chasing the ball or player. Same with dance videos, why add the camera movement when there is so much action? Perhaps it is an opinion or just how we see. Thanks for the thoughtful answer and cheers the the passion for tricklines.

It was a new experience for me as a filmmaker to have this full frame slowmo camera, so I regarded it as a good chance to make the amazingly fast trickline movements visible and comprehensible to the viewer through slowmo close ups. Even if this was a bit experimental for me it worked well for my taste. I absolutely appreciate and respect critics if it's not just a hate comment (which seem to be quiet common these times). That's why I read almost all comments and take my time to respond if it's not just bullshit what's written. If you like slacklining/ tricklining, I would recommend the following videos: winter freestyle show: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eIOXeoyHjtJ3rZY swimming slackline: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qnfRd6aKebGUiZI triple buttflip: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sIWvZHh5gNt7e5Y tandem tricklining: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mXXWgKSmbL-olZo surf 'n' slack: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYfIfnRvrtuafJo As an acro yoga lover you might also like this one: SUP acro yoga: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i57VooJ7bJZljc0 I made many more slacklining/ tricklining videos (and there will come many more in the near future), you'll find them all on my KZbin channel...

The Munich video was good, I like the position of the camera aligned with the line where the focus was set on the athlete. For the tandem slackline video I liked the angled shot, it gave the image depth that brought the video to life in a way the flat side angle did not. Really cool shots of the shadow of the feet in the swimming slackline video (and the sunset shot too). Now reviewing more of your work I wonder it if is time to get a drone and see what higher camera angels look like...

@dannystrasser6 жыл бұрын
You will probably not find this song anywhere else because it was written by a German songwriter who is usually composing only for commercials and movies (his name is 'Beckmann', like shown in the music credit at 7:57). Btw, if you ask me in full sentences instead of single words I can understand you much better and give you a proper answer!
