I love when long board guy uses rollerman's head to boost.
@marchingpackofCeHS9 жыл бұрын
+Arhus Babcock that wasnt a "boost" its common in downhill longboarding to grab the person in front of you when you get close 1 to keep from hitting them, and 2 to keep your wheels from crossing. both of which could end in serious injury. this is basically the same thing but rollerman cant do anything but steer so the longboarder has to be aware and and the result is what you see here, him keeping their wheels from crossing or from them coliding

@Theidmet9 жыл бұрын
Just appreciating each others' ways, I'm sure. Can you imagine if it was 10 people who each had their own vehicles and ways of approaching this "race?" Each person would pretty much just be in awe of and appeciative of every other. Not so much a competition as much as a cooperative learning and sharing event. Don't mean to be idealistic, but shouldn't that be our focus when it comes to sports? Not who can do the exact same action and movement best, but how each person can approach a similar obstacle in their own interesting way? That's much more interesting to me, personally.

He was footbraking because I (as a filmmaker) asked both of them to ride WITH EACH OTHER to get both riders close to each other in one frame. That's why you can watch this video with Rollerman AND a longboarder now! Btw, Rollerman was braking, too, if the longboarder stayed behind. To all who say the action of these two athletes would be out of control: How many skills does it need to be able to play with each other in the distance of a touch at 80 to 90 kph? Do you really think they could do this if they wouldn't be able to control their tools well?

Like the music, loved the ride - showing it to all the kids outside schools before they get in their mums car and the 5,6,7 years olds are loving it. Ok true story, I did shit like this 50 years ago and it just happened I had to swing a little wide into rush hour traffic and it happened to be in front of a cop - and he followed me home - and all shit broke lose
