When back in NYC, come over the bridge to Fort Lee/Edgewater, NJ. Mitsuwa Market has a Japanese food court. There is a ramen shop there that is not to be missed.

That looked like a great bowl of ramen. You enticed me to get the same for dinner tonight. The chashu looked looked thick, yet tender. I'm pretty sure that the black stuff was wood ear mushroom. Good to see another 10 from you. Thanks for reminding me of your scale. Even though you had a few 10's recently, I'm glad that you are stingy in giving them out.
