Emerald Island Grill nextdoor had fried catfish (daily specials) and it's basically the same, but it's way better than BBB. The catfish filets are huge at EIG compared to BBB.

DTM depends on where the fish came from. They are bottom fish and eat what's nearby. I've caught sand bass on the coast here in California and sometimes they taste like sand.

Hushpuppies with texture like minced fish...YUCK...Hushpuppies should have a cornbread texture. That catfish has too much breading and looks overcooked...🤨🤨🤨I'm glad that you enjoyed it.
