Satay Spice is originally from Java Indonesia, but is now popular in virtually all of Southeast Asia. Basic satay spice is a blend of spices that typically includes Chili Pepper, Peanuts, Garlic, and Brown Sugar. This is also the basic marinade for meat skewers also called Satay. Variations of the satay spice mix may also include Sesame, Galangal, Star Anise, Cloves, Peppercorns, and Coriander Seed. Tung is right, Satay Sauce in Chinese is Sha Cha, literally "Sand Tea".

Here is what Satay sauce make of Satay sauces are essentially just peanut butter sauces, roast some peanuts, grind them, then add to some lightly fried shallots and garlic, with chilli, soy sauce, lemon juice, salt, sugar and if you want it authentic probably some nam pla (fish sauce), or blachan (shrimp paste), all of the above to taste

Sautéing is a cooking technique that involves cooking meat in a small amount of fat in a hot pan over direct heat: Definition Sautéing is a dry-heat cooking method that involves cooking food in a small amount of fat in a hot pan while tossing the ingredients around. The term comes from the French verb sauter, which means "to jump". Purpose Sautéing is a quick way to cook food that browns the surface area and enhances the flavors. Nope. Tung was correct. Satay has different regional versions. For some consumers it just means grilled skewered meats. For other people it's the spices mix used to marinate the meats. The ingredients also vary per region, but the most popular version is the peanut-based sauce. And other people use a sesame-based sauce.

Went to SK restaurant at 11 am the same day you went and they said they don't have the lunch specials - because of the holidays. This place is deceiving and crooked! Never going back! If you're not Chinese, don't go there, they discriminate and lie. Also, I must say that their food is only ok. Don't agree that this is the Chinese restaurant to go to in Vegas. Being residents of Vegas, we've tasted much better at a lot of other places. Danny, enjoy watching your videos, but SK is dishonest and we don't support dishonest and prejudicial businesses!
