As a Quakes fan, the 2018 Quakes season is definitely worth a shout-out. They managed the remarkable feat of beating ONLY TWO different teams in the entire MLS season. 2 wins versus Dallas and 2 wins versus Minnesota, for a total of four wins the entire season. Even the 2013 DC united team can boast beating 3 different teams.

I think if you consider FC Cincinnati's record over a three year period ('19-'21). They are the worse team in MLS history. Wooden Spoon three years in a row.

Hello Danny. I know you make videos mostly about MLS, but do a video on the USL team that was better than every MLS team. The Puerto Rico Islanders who had an amazing run in the Concacaf Champions League in 2008-09 reaching the semifinal and then eliminating Toronto FC and LA Galaxy in the 2009 and 2010 editions.

Orlando cities 2018 season deserves a shout out. That season saw them go from a 6 game winning streak, with a record of 6 wins 2 losses and a draw from they're first 9 games to a team that would win just 2 of they're last 25 games, including a 9 game losing streak, after finally breaking that losing streak with a 2-1 win against Toronto fc, they would then go on yet an even worse streak where they didn't get a single win in 13 games

The weird thing about MLS is that it might have dynasties But they usually fizzle out pretty quickly. So the favorites to win the cup are always up in the air because of the constant expansions and subsequent dispersion of players Hopefully now that we reach the 30 team threshold we'll get some Stability

I personally value the supporters shield higher than the MLS cup, and see the MLS cup more like a league cup. Anyway it would be really interesting to hear your thoughts, and break down the stats.

I like the early MLS years. At the time there were fewer teams, the filter was bigger... the teams of the time were not necessarily worse than the teams of today. In the 2001 season, the Tampa Bay Mutiny had good players, but the team had a lot of problems. I believe that administrative and financial problems influenced the team's performance on the field.

@Samuel Wells At the time MLS had fewer teams, I think that's why the level of demand was higher. For example, Dallar Burn finished the 2003 season in last place, but I think they had good players. Real Salt Lake is another good example, they had good players...but they didn't qualify for the playoffs. Remember Mark Dood? Great goalkeeper, he played a few games for the USMNT. He played at a time when almost every MLS team had a goalkeeper with the potential to play for the USMNT.
