I'm completely ignoring dynamax and gigantimax, especially the latter since I have nobody here to do any of the raids with. It's so on brand for Niantic to continue to introduce content as time passes, that requires the participation of larger numbers of players, as the player base gets smaller and smaller over time.

You always get dust from gifts, usually 100, sometimes more. Having a full bag actually reduces the amount of dust you get to 50 most of the time

Extra dust is always good I’ll take it. I only wish we could have guaranteed XL’s every season since it’s so hard to get XL for legendaries.

Yeah, couldnt care less about max battles and really tired of the power spots overwhelming the world map. Everything else looks like standard fair, take some, leave some. But if the teaser is to be believed Ill be hyped for Reshiram and Zekrom cuz I dont have them yet! Thanks for the coverage!

You get between 100-300 dust if you open gifts and have room in your item bag. Extra dust would normally be 150-450 based on past bonuses. It's not much, but it's something. Sometimes I run out a star piece by feeding berries to gyms and opening gifts. It ends up being about 10-15k dust

4:10 as a fly player, I've done countless Max battles. Even with full lobbies, winning the battle feels like RNG, due to you depending on a massive amount of other player's dynamax pokemon and how much they've decided to upgrade them. Not worth it to spend XL candies on a move

Glad we won't see shadow suicune again, but I can't see shadow regis being actually useful. Sigh. I do some 1 or 3 star dynamax raids when I'm walking by the area, but I don't tend to go far out of my way to do them. If exclusive stuff comes to them hopefully I can get carried

I did a few tox dy/gigantamax raids at my local hotspot. Lobby of '40' but whose counting people actually there, lol. I really hope there is a max cup or max gyms soon bc you spend a lot of resources on these which you could be spending on gbl. Did niantic actually think players would coordinate who is attacking, healing and shielding, lol. 7 day streak should give you xl candies bc if I get another frufru, I'm gonna trim its head off. Lol.

The max battle rewards are great, but anything over the tier 3 are terribly annoying. You need >20 people if most people made an effort to power up, otherwise >30 people are needed. The effort involved with getting that many people into one spot at the same time when the spot keeps changing and you can't plan ahead is a terrible experience. Add to the fact that the last one I did (Toxtricity), I wasn't able to get into the lobby before it filled up and there weren't enough left over to make a second lobby. So I spent all day trying to make it to a battle and still missed out! I almost uninstalled right there.

Max battles are lame. Wish you could just use your already built lvl 50s on these

That really just sounds like a “you” problem. You have a community that is large enough to have a full Gmax lobby. You are upset that you missed it/arrived late. You want to uninstall because you didn’t arrive in time? lol. Okay buddy.
