Dan, after watching your video I tried using my own Magcargo because why not? And it's been putting work and how! Was at 1920 elo and now I'm up 2100+ in just one day's worth of sets! It's absolutely insane in the lead and I paired it up with Mantine and a Dubwool safe switch that are running Ice Beam and Wild Charge respectively. Thank you for this!

I love the fire slug, you show cased one of my magcargo teams a long time ago. I thought about running magcargo but I live in fear of the mudboys. Doesn’t help I build most of my teams around shadow granbull when it’s available .. maybe granbull ,Mcargo, and cress for pretty neutral defensive bulk?

Dan, can I make a content suggestion for your channel? I think it would be interesting videos about the difference between good IV ranks and bad ones, in the battle, not only checking the status numbers but also, doing battle simulations on pvpoke. Just to show some battle you'd win or lose, and the amount of HP you are left alive, and so on. Do you think it's a good take on deep analysis? I mean, your channel is one of the best if not the best I know, about more in deep pvp. Keep up with the good work, man. Health and peace. o/

I have had fun with Mantine, S-Magneton and S-Magnezone. I actually really like Magneton in this meta, because it's basically Magnezone but with a proper steel type move. Taking out 90% of an Annihilape's HP with a resisted Magnet Bomb is just glorious.

got a perfect magcargo for pvp a few weeks ago and was thinking in my head how i thought it would destroy in the remix GL but saw pvpoke had it ranked in the 400s so i didnt level it up. shoulda have went with my gut. now i know the next mon im leveling up

How do you play Carbink lead? I got shredded by the Carbink double razor leafer team so even though it seems counter intuitive, if I expect that team then I think I'd have to go straight to sableye

Hey! Jamiefin just posted a video with jirachi which is ranked 300+ but breaks so many cores. Similar idea, but completely different pokemon. It's cool they're ranked so bad, but work so well. I wish they were suggested on pvpoke for hard counters of the meta, but since they're so low ranked, they aren't suggested. Finding these pokemon is literally just scrolling down the list and finding a moveset and typing that does well against the meta. 300+ ranked mons is a lot to look through

in saw the video am we have 3 things to keep in mind here work with me... 1. PvPoke rankings are not based on real things... they are simulations in which the combaters use a shield am baiting is applied... that does not happen in real terms, but it gives a good idea of how good a mon is! 2. KZbinrs or Content Creators are fighting each other for you. Who might be looking for a team to use but don't have the Pokémon needed or resources for it..Meta wins games but at the same time, many to a lot of players cannot get that mons am asking for substitution is talking to a wall! 3. to make that mons that are in the very lower rank to work you need to know your GBL 101 Mechanics from like for example Poliwrth vs Magnazon/Gligr ( a game that Dan lost in yesterday's video) his opponent understood the match-up very well! If you am anyone is trying to copy a team or been fascinated by the used of under rank mon you must understand how to use it...Surprise Attacks as I called it are nice but only get you so far yes Jamiefin gets 350 Elo (so he says on a showcase video) am Dan did good on one of many teams he is using so far! IT IS GOOD TO DO HOMEWORK BEFORE DOING RESOURCES! thats is how i see it!

With the amount of water hard dominating all the top ranks and the decent amount of ground doing 4x dmg, shouldnt margcargo lose most matches due to the amount of counters in the current meta?

I got stone edge on mine. I know you get the debuff. Rock tomb is 55 energy (3,3,3,2) energy and stone edge is 60 energy (3,3,3,3) with incinerates. Which do you guys consider the best for the moveset?

You got em mixed up. Rock Tomb is 60 energy & Stone Edge is 55. I also run Stone Edge, but I could see the advantage in running Rock Tomb besides the debuff. The slower charge time usually indicates an attack with high damage, so throwing a low DPE charge attack usually prompts an opponent to shield, regret it, and then let that overheat K.O
