I tried a variant of Jonkus’ team of talonflame/ferrothorn. Since I don’t have Drapion built I use Umbreon, Quag, or something similiar for a safeswap. I lead Talonflame with flame charge/BB. Talonflame beats clod leads in the 2 shield and is able to outpace with the attack increases I believe. I also sometimes put Machamp as closer because he takes care of Cradily safe swaps easily. Mostly positive matches and several 4-1 5-0 sets.

I've loved Talonflame this season so far. I've been finding a lot of success with Gastrodon, Lickilicky, and Talon.

All the air, grass, and ice pokemon have me using Magcargo. Finding it really good against the counter-meta that's developed.

I love talonflame, one of my faves to run, but you won't catch me touching it right now with all the gator, Azumarill, toxapex, and clodsire around. Feels way too risky.

I lost a match yesterday that I should never have lost, but their Greninja threw Night Slash 4 times and boosted 3/4 times.

8:40 - 11:30 this battle actually made me sooo mad lmao. Poster played like shit with absolutely zero game sense and just got lucky with the brainless LT debuffs and could afford to make bad plays bc of alignment. Feel really bad for the opponent they played really well. Not a deserved win in the slightest
