At the world pokemon championship, a huge move update was announced. This includes nerfing super strong moves like wing attack, counter, and steel wing. It also reduces the switch clock from 60 to 50 seconds.
This week is Master League and Psychic Cup. Psychic Cup is a single typing great league that only allows pokemon with a psychic typing to complete.
In this video I went full DEGEN and went triple astonish with Hoopa, Beheeyem, and Chimecho.

People always get confused with the alien Pokemon. The first one is Elgeeyem(LGM-Which stands for Little green men). The evolved form is Beheeyem(BEM-Which stands for Bug Eyed Monster) Edit:You pronounce the Pokemon like you would spell them. So Beheeyem isn't pronounced "Beh-HE-Yem" it's pronounced B-E-M

If you want all the moves of pokemons just use pokemon showdown, its kinda just the battling and loads of people use it. But you can also make your own teams and you see a selection of all the moves a pokemon can learn. This is a very easy way for looking at the moves pokemon can learn

Have members get into the tournaments with early slots and open it up to everyone. Would be super cool to have leagues in this and we can all build teams and grow as a community it.

Here’s my deal. I hate being “that” guy. Yes, I want to climb and hit the higher ranks. But I remember when everyone ran Swampert/Shadow Swampert in GL and UL and I just refused. I’m the same way now about Feraligator and Skeledirge coming off the week of UL. I refuse to rely on the most common Pokemon or Pokemon core. I love to team build around those to defeat them. That being said, male meowstic with sucker punch handles the malamars a bit better than astonish users. I am running Claydol. And unfortunately, depending on my mood, I’ve succumbed to using Malamar as a the safe swap because if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.

Beheeyem, G-Bro, and Gardevoir have been crushing it for me. Today everyone has Malamar on lead, so I put Gardevoir on lead and it went splendidly.

Smogon is probably the best for just straight up look for a pokemon and what moves it gets. Serebii and bulbapedia are also good but more difficult to sift through.

Never played with a fast move damage team before and I'm still learning when to throw and when to keep attacking. I've lost a few matches already where I just needed one more hit and I'm not sure how much the early game throws impact the late game.

Just finished my sets for the evening Dan, and it felt like roughly half the folks I ran into were running something along these lines Dan. I was a good little Cliff-emulator unless rapidash was tossing an obvious body slam and it served me quite well. I did get baited by a rock slide a couple times sadly from the B.E.M. but I gained a decent bit of ELO tonight for me.

Finally sat down and did my battles this morning and got my starting elo. 2191 isn't too bad. I haven't had the drive to actually play lately. I've had a lot of success running Malamar lead (PC FP HB) G-Slowbro (PJ BS-Surf) and Chimeco (Ast SB) I didn't give chime a second move. It's still been preforming nicely

I went 19 of 25 with Beheeyem, Rapidash (G), and Claydoll. My Beheeyem did not have two charged moves either. It has Astonish for FM and Dark Pulse for CM. But I am only at level 12 since as I have not played a lot of this cup or this season, so maybe that has something to do with the wins, but win while you can! They all have the recommended moves by PVPOKE besides Beheeyem not having the second move Psychic. I did simulations and Beheeyem without the move Psychic wins the same amount of battles. So do not waste your stardust or TMs to get Psychic if you want to use Beheeyem. The IVs of my Beheeyem suck too, but it wins regardless.

Rock Slide on Beheeyem helps spamming for shields and it hurts Malamar as much or more(?) than Dark Pulse does.

TBH i think youtube and streaming ruins video games because it makes players not have a mind of their own. i went up over 300 elo until the first video came out with certain teams now thats all i see. yeah yeah skill issue on my part too i know i know but it makes it worse when its a skill issue and now i just have the same opponents but with differrent skins. idk i love the content you and other tubers make of course but i do feel videos like this ruin the experience for some. tbh if someone cant team build on their own and have to copy a youtuber or streamers team in order to get wins they just shouldnt be playing the game in all honesty. just my own opinion of course. all in all "meta" in any video game is just dead wrong IMO.
