In the current situation many business stopped importing goods. We recently did one with mix items and it used be around $1800 and for this one we paid $9700. 40 foot high cube it is now $18900 and it used to be $3800. Which is crazy and It will continue like this until Chinese New Year. After that there is a chance it will go down by 30%.

@@jhonzara88 The demand is very low at the moment. Our sale is down by less than half. Most business need money for cash flow. Once it gets busier then you’ll see the increase. And some sellers you mentioned are Chinese sellers you can check their addresses are from China and they’re fulfilling order from UK warehouses. No one understands how they afford to sell these items with such low prices.

I had to cancel my order as a new seller and lost my deposit because of shipping costs. Don't have the luxury to pass costs to the customers when I would be a brand new seller and has to start with a low price to be competitive.

I think people are overstocking for holiday, and prices will go down sharply in March-April. There will be a glut of supply in containers and ports will increase capacity to handle current issues - look at what happened to plywood and building materials.

Freight & shipping costs & delays Extremely elevated logistics costs have been one contributor to inflation during the pandemic. But since the spring of 2022, ocean freight prices have come down, with China-West Coast US rates recently hitting pre-pandemic levels. Volumes of imported containers to the US continued to fall through November 2022, and congestion eased significantly, especially at LA/Long Beach, where congestion levels returned to normal in late November. Freightos data shows that rates to ship a 40-ft container from Asia to the US West Coast dropped by more than 80% since the end of April 2022, while prices to the East Coast fell by almost two-thirds. A big driver in falling logistics costs is a drop in consumer spending, which had been responsible for increased sales among many importers over the last two years. Thanks for this video! It was useful. On top of all of the problems you mentioned, I am having a ton of trouble with amazon inbound shipments. I have delivered items sitting with delivered status at the fulfillment center for over a month. Does anyone else have issues like that? Can you make a video of this issue if you know any information and how to resolve it or not run into this? Is it avoidable?

@@matthewglenn9063 You nail that! That is exactly my issue and the part that I don't understand... I am losing my rank and wasted all of my advertisement costs to get to the first position... While Amazon keeps on charging their $40 fee for FBA when they're not doing their part. I have 3,000 units sitting at the warehouse for 32 days but my items are out of stock. I tried sending more shipments in of the same products and it still hasn't worked, they're stuck as well 🤦
